The film garnered a mixed to unfavorable reception from critics, with acclaim for its music but bad reviews for the actors’ performances, director, monotonous narrative, and storyline. However, the picture had a great opening weekend at the box office, and as a result, it became a huge box office triumph. The film’s success was attributed to the immense popularity of its predecessor, which starred Shree Krishna Shrestha and Jharana Thapa, as well as the film’s music.
